Kindle

My friend Alet is excited about getting Kindle, a globally wireless reading device that could download ebooks without a computer. It was the first time for me to hear about it as I’m still stuck in the 20th Century with my hardbound and trade paperbacks with words printed on actual paper. It sells for 259 USD so it’s *so* not cheap, but I read the site and watched the video and agree with most that it’s a fantastic thing to have.

However, I don’t think I’ll buy one. I’m really attached to my paper books. Even when I was processing my work travel papers, I lugged a huge hardbound version of Eragon around. One just cannot replace books, no matter how fantastic the digital version gets. ๐Ÿ™‚

But if they come out with a color model I might change my mind about buying one. Tee-hee.

Lately, I’ve been obsessed about getting rare and special fishes in Pet Society. I’ve logged my recent exploits (or Treehorn’s) in my PS blog (post 1, post 2). It’s so funny, even my Dad pokes fun at my PS addiction.

Although I have to admit that my Pet Society blog is better organized than this one, my personal blog. Everything before November 2008 has been transferred from Blogger.com as even the much older ones from MySpace have been deleted, which means that a lot of my older posts and most of the new ones are not categorized properly. I quail at the idea of going through years and years of blog posts just to organize them.

Maybe next week. ๐Ÿ˜€
